New Year, New Arrivals (but mostly French!)

Welcome to James Hocking Wine 2025 and our first event of the year. A collection of new arrivals in our warehouse with an emphasis on something we’ve not covered in too much depth to date...France!

We’ve been quietly working away at our range recently and have found some great examples from a few classic regions including Burgundy, Bordeaux and The Loire. This event also times perfectly with our Francois Cotat arrival – the iconic (and absurdly-rare) Sancerre, revered by many as the finest expression of Sauvignon Blanc available. Look out for a couple of new arrivals from the Guinaudeau family also – owners of Chateau Lafleur in Pomerol. A sensational white Bordeaux and an elegant, expressive Merlot from Bordeaux’s right bank. A couple new bottles from Italy and Argentina frame the evening perfectly and we’ll end with something sticky!
