From the Sonoma County Distillers comes a 100% rye, matured in new charred American oak barrels and bottled at 48% ABV. Plenty of earthy, oaky elements coming through here, along with lots of honey, vanilla, citrus and robust spices that you'll always be looking out for in rye spirits. Sonoma Bourbon and Sonoma Rye are reminiscent of a more traditional style of whiskey. These uniquely robust and full-bodied expressions are the result of double distillation process in handmade copper pot stills.
We’re loving the nose of cinnamon and cooked fruits, with just a hint of sweetness, leading to a palate of red fruits and stem ginger. Nice lengthy finish with orange, toast and white pepper.
