You must be of legal purchase age in your country of access or residence in order to buy any alcoholic beverage from James Hocking Wine Limited.

 

Prices

 

Where bottle prices are quoted, these prices are inclusive of VAT @ 20% unless specifically stated. We are able to offer pricing under bond for unsplit case quantities. Please ask for a quotation. We are approved under the AWRS Scheme and have the reference

All wines offered for sale in this list are subject to availability. Please note that we ship direct from California and some wines may still be in transit or lying in California. We consolidate and ship twice a year.

 

Payment

 

You can buy wine straight from our web site using secure payment. Payment can also be made by UK cheque, bank transfer or credit card. Trade accounts welcome subject to the usual credit checks and references. Please ask for an account application form. We ask that the first three invoices are settled on a proforma basis.

For approved trade accounts, payment is due within 30 days of the date of invoice.

 

James Hocking Wine Limited shall retain title of all goods until funds have been paid in full. We reserve the right to charge interest at 5% above the Hampden & Co. base rate on all overdue sums.

 

Shipping

 

For orders over £120.00 shipping is free to mainland United Kingdom addresses. Shipping to remote areas, Highlands and Islands may attract a surcharge. Please contact us and we will be happy to advise.

 

Local deliveries. For postcode areas SO20, SO21, SO22, SO23 and SO25 plus SP10 and SP11 we are happy to offer rapid free delivery on any purchase from our web site.

 

Collections. We welcome collections from our Andover Warehouse on Walworth Industrial Estate (subject to current COVID guidelines). We also have a selection from our range plus some fine & rare bottles on display and available for immediate purchase. Collections require 48 hrs notice, please do not come to collect until we have sent confirmation that your order is ready.

 

James Hocking Wine Courses. Confirmation vouchers can be either sent via email or Royal Mail First Class Post, free of charge.

 

Due to our glorious Brexit, we are unable to ship wines to Europe at the current time.

 

Acceptance 

 

Goods will be deemed to have been received satisfactorily unless claims to the contrary are made within three days of collection or delivery.

James Hocking Wine Courses

​

Any booking made for a Wine Course and subsequently cancelled within four (4) weeks of the course date will be non-refundable due to costs being incurred to host the event.  We will make every effort to resell the tickets, however we reserve the right to refuse a refund of the ticket price should the places remain unsold.

​

If we should need to cancel the event for any reason we will continue to honour your ticket/s for any date amendment or transfer the ticket value to any of our other course dates to suit you.

 

Returns

 

Any refund or exchange of goods deemed to be faulty shall be granted at the discretion of James Hocking Wine Limited upon the return of the goods.

 

Force Majeure

 

We shall not be liable for any failure to meet our obligations
