This year, we have changed the format slightly and will be returning to our favourite haunt, The Peat Spade. This is quite easily one of the best pubs in Hampshire and we have exclusive use of The Garden Room for our lunch and tasting.

About the Event
The tasting will include a full 3-course menu catering for all options including the obligatory Turkey, as a regular, I can happily confirm the food is amazing.
And the wine? So as always at this gig, I’ll be going large! Expect an aperitif from one of the better grower Champagnes such as Chartogne-Taillet or Bérèche, before sliding in to Condrieu from Vernay, Riesling from Haag or JJ Prüm, and Chardonnay from the most coastal vineyard in Northern California. Reds will include Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah (Côte-Rôtie anybody?) before moving to fortifieds. Those of you that follow me on Instagram are probably aware that I’m having a love affair with Calvados currently, so expect a warming post-prandial to finish...
